How to rent filming equipment in Vietnam?
Vietnam has a lot of modern and professional filming equipment for rent. For foreign film corporations, filming equipment in Vietnam can save on shipping costs and minimize the risk of loss or damage during transportation, while avoiding possible customs problems.
We provide filming equipment for domestic and foreign customers.
Film design process in Vietnam
You need to send us:
• List of equipment you need to hire
• How many days do you want to rent, from which date to which date
• Location where you need to design and use the equipment (we currently have equipment in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, if you need to design in other localities, we need to send it)
• And the target filming location will help us make suggestions about the equipment.
We will then:
• check that we have the correct equipment for the dates you need
• clarify what is on the list
• suggest alternative equipment if we don’t have the correct equipment
Once everything has been clearly defined, we will send you a price report similar to the following:

Please note that:
- If the equipment cost a lot, we would need to send at least a technician with you to look after the equipment and help you with handling the equipment. And you would need to pay for this person.
- We may require picture of passport and your company’s information to book the equipment
- We may require a deposit to book the equipment.

* Batteries
Here V mount batteries are mostly used for camera when filming outside. To use for light, it’s usually not enough. The maximum length of time to use V mount batteries for light is around 30 minutes, then it takes 3-4 hours more to re-charge.
So to film outside that would need light, you would most likely need a generator.
